SOUTHERN DENT...TEXAS AND WRIGHT COUNTIES...
LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT RAINFALL AND SNOW MELT
FROM FRIDAY AND FRIDAY EVENING WAS PRODUCING MINOR FLOODING ACROSS
THE ADVISORY AREA. RAIN GAUGES INDICATE THAT THREE QUARTERS OF AN
INCH TO ONE AND A QUARTER INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF
THE ADVISORY AREA. THE RAINFALL IN CONJUNCTION WITH MELTING SNOW AND
FROZEN GROUND CONDITIONS WILL RESULT IN EXCESSIVE RUNOFF AND MINOR
FLOODING INTO SATURDAY MORNING.
RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING MINOR FLOODING. LOCATIONS
IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE...ALTON...AVA...BAKERSFIELD...BIRCH TREE...
CABOOL...CURRENT RIVER STATE PARK...EMINENCE...GAINESVILLE...GRAND
GULF STATE PARK...HARTVILLE...HOUSTON...MANSFIELD...MONTAUK STATE
PARK...MOUNTAIN GROVE...MOUNTAIN VIEW...NORWOOD...RAYMONDVILLE...
SUMMERSVILLE...THAYER...WEST PLAINS...WILLOW SPRINGS AND WINONA.
CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.

ROUTE E NORTH OF HIGHWAY 38 AT THE GASCONADE RIVER...
ROUTE FF AT HUNTER CREEK EAST OF AVA...
ROUTE H...3 MILES EAST OF WINONA...
ROUTE FF AT TURKEY CREEK EAST OF AVA.
LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS HAVE REPORTED THAT HIGHWAY 142 NEAR
LANTON IN HOWELL COUNTY WAS COVERED WITH WATER UP TO EIGHT INCHES IN
DEPTH. OREGON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT SEVERAL
LOW WATER CROSSINGS WERE BECOMING FLOODED.
