.A POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH A DRY LINE THROUGH
THE AREA THIS EVENING. STRONG SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL PERSIST
THIS EVENING...GRADUALLY WEAKENING FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH
THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...
* TIMING...STRONG WEST SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THIS
EVENING ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND MUCH OF THE
MISSOURI OZARKS. WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE LATE THIS
EVENING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
* WINDS...SUSTAINED SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH
GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH WILL OCCUR.
* IMPACTS...STRONG SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL CREATE DIFFICULTY ON
NORTH TO SOUTH ORIENTED ROADWAYS SUCH AS STATE HIGHWAYS 13 AND
65...AND INTERSTATE 49. LIGHT OUTDOOR OBJECTS MAY BE BLOWN
AROUND. TREE LIMBS COULD BE BLOWN DOWN WHERE THE STRONGEST
WIND GUSTS OCCUR.
