The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Mississippi County in southeastern Missouri... Scott County in
southeastern Missouri... Stoddard County in southeastern
* Until 1145 PM CDT
* At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms
producing heavy rain moving back into the warned area from the
west. Doppler radar estimates from 1 to 3 inches of rain have
already fallen from earlier storms. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, Dexter, Charleston, Scott City, East
Prairie, Chaffee, Cairo, Bernie, Bloomfield, Advance, Oran, Miner,
Benton, Morehouse, Puxico, Bertrand, Morley, Kelso and Essex.
