County,
Special Weather Statement issued March 21 at 7:12AM CDT until further notice by NWS
Effective: 7:12 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015
Expires: 9:43 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015

...ISOLATED PATCHES OF DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THROUGH 9 AM CDT...
LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS...COMBINED WITH VARIABLE CLOUD COVER
ARE SERVING TO DEVELOP SMALL POCKETS OF FOG ACROSS PARTS OF
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...WEST KENTUCKY AND EXTREME SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.
ALTHOUGH THE FOG IS FAIRLY SHALLOW IN DEPTH...VISIBILITY DUE TO
THE FOG CAN CHANGE DRAMATICALLY OVER A SHORT DISTANCE.
ISOLATED VISIBILITIES DUE TO THE FOG MAY DROP DOWN TO A QUARTER
MILE OR LESS AT TIMES...SO DRIVERS ARE URGED TO DRIVE ACCORDING TO
THE CONDITIONS.
IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO KEEP YOUR HEADLIGHTS ON...ALLOW A LITTLE
EXTRA ROOM BETWEEN YOURSELF AND OTHER DRIVERS...AND AVOID
DRAMATIC CHANGES IN SPEED WHILE IN THE FOG. IF YOU PLAN TO CHANGE
LANES OR LEAVE THE ROADWAY...BE SURE TO SIGNAL YOUR INTENTIONS
AHEAD OF TIME.
AS THE SUN CONTINUES TO RISE THIS MORNING...THE FOG SHOULD
GRADUALLY LIFT AND IMPROVE THE VISIBILITY ON THE ROAD AHEAD.
VISIBILITIES DUE TO THE FOG SHOULD IMPROVE DRAMATICALLY BY 9 AM
CDT.
