THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN KENTUCKY AND
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN
WESTERN KENTUCKY...BALLARD...CALLOWAY...CARLISLE...FULTON...
GRAVES...HICKMAN...MARSHALL AND MCCRACKEN. IN SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI...MISSISSIPPI AND NEW MADRID.
* UNTIL 7 AM CDT SUNDAY
* SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE WATCH AREA
TONIGHT. THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS FORECAST TO FALL OVER THE PURCHASE
AREA OF WESTERN KENTUCKY AND FAR SOUTHEAST MISSOURI.
* RAINFALL TOTALS SHOULD AVERAGE FROM 1 TO 1.5 INCHES IN THE WATCH
AREA. LOCALIZED HEAVIER TOTALS OF 2 INCHES OR MORE ARE POSSIBLE.
THIS MAY BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING GIVEN THE
SATURATED SOIL CONDITIONS FROM RECENT HEAVY RAINS.
