FOLLOWING AREAS...IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...JOHNSON KS...LINN
KS AND MIAMI. IN MISSOURI...BATES...CASS...COOPER...HENRY...
HOWARD...JACKSON...JOHNSON MO...LAFAYETTE...PETTIS AND SALINE.
* UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON
* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS MORNING MAY DROP UP TO AN INCH OF
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ON SOME AREAS.
* RIVERS...CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE FLOODING
WITH THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL. IN ADDITION...MANY LOW WATER
CROSSING MAY BECOME FLOODED AND IMPASSIBLE.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
