A THIN CORRIDOR OF FOG...LIKELY NO WIDER THAN 10 OR 20
MILES...EXTENDS ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS THIS EVENING. AT 815 PM CDT...THIS CORRIDOR
OF FOG EXTENDED FROM NEAR GREELEY...TO KEARNEY AND ALMA IN
NEBRASKA...AND FARTHER SOUTH TO NEAR PHILLIPSBURG AND STOCKTON IN
KANSAS. THIS AREA OF FOG IS SLOWLY DRIFTING EAST AND WILL PROMOTE
VISIBILITY RESTRICTION OF LESS THAN ONE MILE...WITH SOME LOCATIONS
PERHAPS OBSERVING VISIBILITY RESTRICTION TO AROUND ONE-QUARTER OF
A MILE OR LESS. AGAIN...THIS CORRIDOR OF FOG IS NOT VERY WIDE...BUT
VISIBILITY WILL LIKELY DROP OFF VERY QUICKLY AS YOU DRIVE THROUGH
IT. IF YOU ENCOUNTER THIS FOG...BE SURE TO SLOW DOWN...ALLOW EXTRA
DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER CARS...AND USE YOUR LOW-BEAM
HEADLIGHTS.
