...ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW FOR THIS AFTERNOON/EARLY EVENING...
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS
EVENING...
* STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...INCLUDING WHAT HAS ALREADY
FALLEN...GENERALLY 2 TO 3 INCHES IN NEBRASKA PORTIONS OF THE
ADVISORY AREA...AND 1 TO 2 INCHES IN KANSAS.
* TIMING...THE FIRST ROUND OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE EXITING THE
ADVISORY AREA TO THE EAST THROUGH NOON. FOLLOWING A LULL THAT
COULD LAST A FEW HOURS...A SECOND ROUND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW
WILL MOVE IN FROM THE WEST LATER THIS AFTERNOON BEFORE DEPARTING
FOR GOOD DURING THE 6 TO 9 PM TIME FRAME.
* WIND...LATER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING...WINDS WILL
INCREASE IN SPEED AS THEY SWITCH TO NORTHWESTERLY...WITH
SUSTAINED SPEEDS GENERALLY 15 TO 20 MPH AND GUSTS TO AROUND 25
MPH.
* IMPACT...SNOW ACCUMULATION...AS WELL AS PERIODIC VISIBILITY
RESTRICTION IN BLOWING SNOW AS THE WIND INCREASES...COULD
PRESENT DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA.
