EAST CENTRAL KANSAS AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI INTO THE EARLY
AFTERNOON HOURS. AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE
BEFORE THE SNOW MOVES OUT OF THE REGION...LEAVING BEHIND A TOTAL OF
TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF SNOW BEHIND.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL HAS
ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 4 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON.
* LOCATION...PARTS OF EXTREME EAST CENTRAL KANSAS AND WEST CENTRAL
MISSOURI.
* TIMING/SHORT TERM TRENDS...A SECOND SURGE OF SNOW...OCCASIONALLY OF
MODERATE INTENSITY...WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT EAST THROUGH THE REGION.
THE SNOW WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST BETWEEN 1 AND 2 PM.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...THROUGH 10 AM ONE TO THREE INCHES HAS FALLEN
SOUTH OF A MOUND CITY KANSAS TO BUTLER AND CLINTON LINE. AN
ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW IS LIKELY BEFORE ENDING.
* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL RESULT IN SNOW COVERED
ROADS...BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES CREATING HAZARDOUS DRIVING
CONDITIONS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. VISIBILITIES WILL ALSO BE
REDUCED IN THE HEAVIER POCKETS OF SNOW.
