A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE
CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS AROUND NEXT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING BEFORE ENDING. THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY AS TO
WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL OCCUR AND ANY PART OF CENTRAL AND
SOUTHWEST KANSAS COULD BE IMPACTED. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF SIX
INCHES OR MORE WILL BE LIKELY WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL OCCURS.
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY FROM BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW COULD ALSO OCCUR.
