...Elevated to Significant Fire Weather Risk Monday...
Gusty winds of 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts to around 35 mph
combined with a very dry airmass will result in an elevated to
significant fire weather risk Monday.
Relative humidity levels will fall into the 20 to 35 percent
range. Winds will shift from the southwest to west and northwest
during the day Monday as a dry cold front pushes across the
region. Red Flag conditions may be approached Monday.
These weather conditions along with very dry grasses and
underbrush could result in the rapid spread of fires. A limited to
elevated fire weather risk will continue through the week. Outdoor
burning is highly discouraged.
