A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON
CST TODAY.
* SHORT TERM TRENDS...A BAND OF MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY
SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH SOUTH OF U.S. 60 OVER THE NEXT FEW
HOURS. A QUICK ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED. LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES HAVE REPORTED NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS WHERE THIS SNOW
FALLS.
* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS
IN EFFECT FOR AREAS SOUTH OF I-44. SNOWFALL SHOULD COME TO AN
END FROM NORTH TO SOUTH BY MID TO LATE MORNING.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES.
* VISIBILITY...THE FALLING SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES DOWN TO A MILE
OR LESS AT TIMES.
* IMPACTS...ROADWAYS ACROSS THE REGION WILL QUICKLY BECOME SNOW
COVERED AND HAZARDOUS. NUMEROUS ACCIDENTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED
THIS MORNING WHERE SNOW HAS FALLEN.
