...BANDS OF LIGHT SNOW THIS AFTERNOON...
LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS AND SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI INTO THIS AFTERNOON.
OVERALL WITH TEMPERATURES RIGHT AROUND THE FREEZING MARK...MOST
LOCATIONS WILL LIKELY OBSERVE A DUSTING OF SNOW ON GRASSY AND
ELEVATED AREAS. HOWEVER...SMALL BANDS OF MODERATE SNOW WILL
PRODUCE LOCALIZED SNOW ACCUMULATION TO AROUND ONE INCH AS WELL AS
LIGHT SLUSHY ACCUMULATION OF SNOW ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
LIGHT SNOW WILL GRADUALLY END ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI BY THE MID
AFTERNOON HOURS.
HEADING INTO LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...TEMPERATURES ACROSS
THE AREA WILL GRADUALLY FALL INTO THE UPPER 20S. THERE IS A RISK
OF BLACK ICE AS RESIDUAL MOISTURE ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES MAY
REFREEZE.
