NORTHEASTERN JASPER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...
SOUTHEASTERN BOURBON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS...
SOUTHWESTERN DADE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...
SOUTHWESTERN VERNON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...

* AT 1145 PM CDT...THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INDICATED
THAT FLOODING WAS ONGOING OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI
AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
THUNDERSTORMS THAT OCCURRED LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING PRODUCED
EXCESSIVE RAINFALL...THAT CAUSED FLOODING ALONG THE SPRING RIVER
AND MUDDY CREEK...ALONG WITH THEIR TRIBUTARIES.
* RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING MINOR FLOODING.
LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE...ALBA...ARCADIA...ARMA...
CARTHAGE...ENGLEVALE...FRONTENAC...GIRARD...GOLDEN CITY...JASPER...
LAMAR...LIBERAL...LOCKWOOD...MILLER...MINDENMINES...MOUNT VERNON...
MULBERRY...PITTSBURG...PRAIRIE STATE PARK...PURCELL...SHELDON AND
VERDELLA. CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE
ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.
NUMEROUS ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS ALONG MUDDY CREEK AND THE SPRING
RIVER ARE FLOODING.
