...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...
* TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN EARLY THIS MORNING OVER
CENTRAL KANSAS...EVENTUALLY SPREADING EAST ACROSS THE STATE
THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL BE THIS MORNING
ACROSS CENTRAL KANSAS.
* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW FALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE BETWEEN 2 TO 3
INCHES ACROSS AREAS NORTH OF HIGHWAY 50. THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS
WILL BE ALONG INTERSTATE 70.
* OTHER IMPACTS...THE ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL LIKELY MAKE ROADS
AND HIGHWAYS SLICK...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
