ALLEN COUNTY...
AT 1243 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AREAS OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORM WILL MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN MOVING SOUTH ACROSS THE
REGION. THIS SCATTERED ACTIVITY SHOULD CONTINUE THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON...POSING A CONTINUED THREAT FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
THIS MORNING`S NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED WIDESPREAD RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF THREE TO FIVE INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS...ACROSS A GOOD CHUNK OF ALLEN COUNTY.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM ONGOING RAINFALL IN CONCERT WITH THIS
MORNING`S HEAVY RAIN...IS LIKELY PRODUCING FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...AND HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES IN URBAN AREAS.
ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF
CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS MAY ALSO BE SUBJECT TO
FLOODING.
