Wind overnight Wednesday blew over two large cottonwood trees in front of Jim and Marilyn Cox’s home off of 66th Terrace and Mize Road, with limbs causing some damage to their roof. They said their 1.5-acre property had a park-like setting, and it hurts to see the trees down. “We’ve been here 23 years, and we loved what we had, but no one was hurt – that’s what’s important,” Jim Cox said.
