Man arrested in De Soto pleads not guilty to multiple charges of burglary and theft

Robert E. Moore, of Kansas City, Kan., pleaded not guilty to three charges of aggravated burglary, one count of robbery, one count of bribery, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of theft amounting to less than $1,000 and one of more than $1,000 but less than $25,000, one count of criminal damage and one count of burglary of a dwelling.

Moore, who will be 28 next week, was arrested in December after leading Johnson County Sheriff's deputies on a vehicle chase through De Soto and Lenexa on initial charges of aggravated burglary. He was allegedly stealing lawn and yard equipment to pawn.

Moore is being held on $1 million bond and will face a preliminary hearing at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25.

Why does the title show "De Soto man..." if he is from KCK?

I apologize, I'd meant to change the headline before I published the post to reflect his arrest in De Soto, not his residence in De Soto. Thanks for bringing to my attention.
