The De Soto Days Festival is coming up and the parade will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. This year it will start at the Riverfest Park and go up Ottawa to downtown and back around to the park. I hope we have a good turn out for the parade, the weather should be so nice. On that Sunday, Sept. 4, there will be a community church service and potluck lunch. It should be a wonderful time.
