State cross-country at Wamego
The De Soto High School cross-country teams competed in the class 4A state championship Saturday at Wamego. The DHS boys team placed third overall and junior Angel Vasquez place first individually. On the girls' side they placed eighth overall and sophomore Rebekah Burgweger placed 15th.
