Sherry Bowlin, a member of the Methodist church, hands a piece of candy to two year-old Carson Carpenter during the church's first trunk-or-treat event on Halloween night. "It's so much fun to see all the kids in their costumes," Bowlin said. "My husband and I live out in the country so we never get trick or treaters at our house, this is a treat for me too."
