Mize Elementary fifth-grader Zach Deibert explains his pneumatic cannon to DHS science teacher Laura Moley during the DHS science fair on Wednesday, April 27. Deibert was one of a handful of elementary students who participated in the fair, seniors from DHS gave Zach and his classmates feedback on their projects. His cannon, which is powered by a bicycle pump, shot a wooden projectile covered in paper towels 53 meters.
