Wildcats split double-header with Cyclones
The De Soto High School Wildcats won the first game against Ottawa 6-2 at home on Tuesday, April 12 and lost the second 5-2. An aggressive attitude on base and eight strike outs by senior pitcher Kyle McCulloch helped lead the Wildcats to victory in the first game. DHS batters stole 12 bases during the first game. In the second game, the Wildcats recorded an early run in the first inning but didn't score again until the bottom of the fifth.
