Jill Flegler waves to the crowd at Saturday's De Soto Days Festival parade as Donna Bartholomew looks over her shoulder in one of the trolleys filled with descendents of De Soto's early settlers. Parade float winners were De Soto homeschoolers, first, Sons of Confederate Vets, second, Carl Elliott small covered wagon, third, and Kiddie Corner Daycare and Cub Scout Troop 3054 fourth.
