De Soto Relay For Life 2007
Weather forced this year's De Soto Relay For Life indoors but didn't prevent it from being a success. Event chairwoman Rita Jones said the Relay was just $500 short of its $40,000 and would probably hit the target when team captains gathered for their final accounting.
The De Soto VFW Post 6654, Boy Scout Troop 54 and the De Soto High School cheerleading squad help get the Relay started during opening ceremonies.
