De Soto Relay For Life 2007
Weather forced this year's De Soto Relay For Life indoors but didn't prevent it from being a success. Event chairwoman Rita Jones said the Relay was just $500 short of its $40,000 and would probably hit the target when team captains gathered for their final accounting.
Aaron Ahrens collects money as did members from other teams dressed in drag for the Queen of the Relay contest. The contest raised $1,008 with Lexington Trails Middle School teacher Phil Shaw bringing in the most with $326.
