Donated canned goods sit waiting to be sorted into bags of Thanksgiving trimmings in the basement of the De Soto Methodist church. The bags, along with a $15 meat voucher, will be given to families in need in the De Soto area. Donations of food and/or money for the bags are still being accepted, they may be dropped off at the church during business hours, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Friday.
