The male driver of the Chevrolet half-ton pick-up truck involved in an accident on Kansas Highway 10 on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 6, was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. He was in critical condition. The accident was caused when a trailer came loose from the truck hauling it and crossed the median from the east-bound lane to the west-bound lane and struck the Chevrolet pick-up on its roof. The hauler of the trailer was not injured. West-bound K-10 is closed at Kill Creek Road and traffic is being diverted through De Soto to the Lexington Avenue exit.
