Wesley Williams ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“I personally disapprove of the new policy. It is a sign that our nation is in a continuous decline in morality and a sign that our once Christian-founded republic is now corrupt and perverse.”
Amanda Altenhofen ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“At the time the policy was instated, I thought it seemed a bit silly. I didn't understand how the policy would be applied to a large, diverse institution that spanned the globe. The repeal seems like a modernization that the military needs. I believe if someone is patriotic enough to enlist, then he or she should be allowed to serve regardless of sexual orientation.”
Denise LaRosh ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“Now that DADT has been repealed, I believe our military leaders will do as they’ve always done: Train American men and women to be ready when our country needs them.”
