If your neighborhood shopping center faced the same problems as Ten Quivira Plaza, would you support paying a half-cent higher sales tax there to fund redevelopment?

I do not support an increase in taxes. The owners need to borrow the money from the bank and do the improvements, adjust the rent and pay off the bank loan over time like the rest of us do when we want to redo our houses.

If a good redevelopment plan were in place, with a definite cap or end date, I would support a half-cent tax to support my neighborhood center.
