Would you consider being a storm spotter?

“If I had been asked this about two or so years ago, I probably would have been holed up in a basement just seeing the word storm. However, living in Kansas has numbed my fear of weather, probably to a dangerous point, considering my answer is yes.”

Not only tornadoes but how storms form and the science behind predicting, tracking and debunking all of the myths associated with tornadoes, snow storms and excesses in temperature. For the outdoorsman, it is a must.”

“I'd love being a storm spotter —with training. In my earlier years I spent a lot of time sailing along the Atlantic coast and learned enough to know when to head for shore (most of the time). Having better skills would make it even more interesting. Just take the winds we’ve had this week...”
