What do you think of Shawnee Mission USD 512's new Breathalyzer policy?

Kent Zimmerman ( in Shawnee) says...
“I’m not so sure about the legality of requiring a student, especially one who is 18, to submit to a Breathalyzer test. But if the problem is as serious as the district suggests, something should be done.”
Tom Martin ( in Shawnee) says...
“I think the school district’s policy is a good idea. Kids should not be drinking at school events and this policy goes can help detect underage drinking.”
Cathy Boch ( in Shawnee) says...
“As a concerned parent for the safety of our children, I understand the possible need; but, as a privacy issue I would need specific testing guidelines and resolutions regarding probable cause instances.”
