Thomas Paustian 1958 - 2009

Memorial services for Thomas Paustian, 50, De Soto, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence.
Mr. Paustian died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at his home.
He was born July 27, 1958, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Henry and LuEllen Hall Paustian.
He grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. He attended Fort Hays State University, and later attended Kansas State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture.
Mr. Paustian enjoyed motorcycles and was an enthusiastic Deadhead. He was an avid geologist and a Mason.
Mr. Paustian moved to De Soto from Lenexa a month ago.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher, Lawrence, and Michael, Overland Park; a daughter, Jamie Snyder, Shawnee; his mother, Lawrence; and two brothers, Henry, Olathe, and Steven, Overland Park.
He was preceded in death by his father on June 14, 2007.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
