Memorial services for Linda Howard, 45, of De Soto were Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Howard died June 22, 2009, at the home. She was born April 28, 1964, in Kansas City, Mo., to June and Charles Ward. She was raised in De Soto and raised her family there, as well. She was a school bus driver for many years and the safety manager for Laidlaw Bus Co. She was a loving mother and soon would have been a grandmother for the first time.
She was preceded in death by her mother, June. She is survived by her father Charles of Blue Springs; her husband, Bart; three daughters, Marvadawn Cannon, Neah Howard, and Jamie and husband, all of De Soto; two brothers, Rick Ward, Olathe, and Mike Wark, De Soto; and step-sister Doreen Collins, Lone Jack, Mo.
