Glendon Neidholdt 1947 - 2009
A family memorial service for Glendon H. Neidholdt, 62, of Joplin, Mo., will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at his Joplin home. Mr. Neidholdt died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at his home. He was cremated. Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Chapel of Joplin was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Neidholdt was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo., to Elmer Ervin Neidholdt and Mary Ellen Lybarger Neidholdt. He was a graduate of De Soto High School. He married Carolyn M. Holman on May 7, 1979, in Gaston, Ala. The couple owned and operated G&C Trucking Inc. in Joplin, drove for CFI for many years and owned and operated the dump truck business, Glendon Neidholdt and Sons Trucking of Joplin.
Mr. Neidholdt was preceded in death by his father; bother Keith Neidholdt; and son Randolph Scott Neidholdt. He is survived by his mother; wife Carolyn; sister Gayle Davis and her husband, Jim, Elkland, Mo.; five sons, Glendon Todd Neidholdt, Keytesville, Mo., Lonnie Rae Neidholdt and his wife, Julie, Joplin, Timothy Hugh Neidholdt, Joplin, Kurt Edward Neidholdt and his wife, Jocelyn, Ishperning, Miss., and Michael Clifton Anderson and Mark of Minneapolis, Minn.; and six grandchildren.
