Virginia M. Trull 1919 - 2008 Lawrence
Funeral services for Virginia Mae Trull, 89, Lawrence, were Saturday, March 22, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Trull died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community after a long illness.
She was born Feb. 27, 1919, in Lawrence, the daughter of Thomas W. and Rose Mae Gulley Patchen. She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School and was a lifelong resident of Lawrence.
Mrs. Trull was a homemaker. She formerly worked at the Lawrence Journal-World and Hercules Co. as an accountant. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary 14, ADAH Chapter 7, Order of the Eastern Star in Lawrence, the HEU Club and the Review Club.
She married William J. Trull on Jan. 26, 1946, in Lawrence. He died in November 1984.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Patchen and Harold Patchen, and a sister, Vivian Craig.
Survivors include a son, William D. Trull, Malvern, Pa.; two daughters, Judy M. Kasson, Lawrence, and Beverly A. McClung, Ridgway, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
