Beulah M. Arnold 1915 - 2008
A memorial service for Beulah M. Arnold, 92, was Monday at the Wesley Towers conference room in Hutchinson. Burial followed Monday at Penwell-Gable Memorial Park in Topeka.
Mrs. Arnold died April 18, 2008, at the Hester Care Center in Wesley Towers.
She was born April 21, 1915, in Pueblo, Colo., to Arthur David and Matilda Ann Wade Woodcock. She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1933 and Kansas State University in 1938.
She married Ralph W. Arnold Aug. 1, 1938, in Kansas City, Mo. He died March 30, 2000.
Mrs. Arnold was a social worker for the state of Kansas, working in Jefferson and Brown counties. She was a 4-H leader and a member of the Manhattan High School and K-State alumni associations.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister Bernice Moshier. Survivors include two sons, Rolland Arnold and wife, Jean, of Tucson, Az., and Roger Arnold of New Orleans, La.; Donna Bodine and husband, Kerry, of De Soto, Dianne Coons and husband, Ed, of Hutchinson, and Dee Sellner and husband, Ron, of Portland, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
