Memorial services for Darryl Gregg Lafferty, 50, Lenexa, were Sunday, Jan. 3, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
Mr. Lafferty died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at St. Luke’s South Hospital, Overland Park.
He was born Sept. 4, 1959, in Kansas City, Kan. He was a 1977 graduate of De Soto High School and was manager of Spectrum Carpets in Shawnee at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie (Chrisman) Lafferty; a son, Brett Lafferty; and a daughter, Whitney Lafferty, all of Lenexa; his father and mother-in-law, L.J. and Gertrude Chrisman, Easton; a brother-in-law, Steve Chrisman, Easton; and sister-in-law, Joyce Webb and husband, Kenny, Shawnee.
The family suggests memorials to Kansas Wildlife and Parks, sent in care of the funeral chapel, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee KS 66203.
