DUI checkpoint planned in west Johnson County
Johnson County Sheriff's deputies, with law enforcement agents from other agencies, will conduct at sobriety checkpoint this weekend, the sheriff's office announced today.
The checkpoint is planned for the early morning hours of Saturday, May 14, in western Johnson County.
The exact location is not disclosed in advance.
Deputies will administer sobriety tests to drivers suspected of being intoxicated and arrest those who are impaired.
Efforts will be made to avoid severely interrupting traffic flow, the sheriff's office said.
