De Soto sweeps St. James softball
March 31, 2010
St. James Academy hoped to kick off the 2010 softball season with a doubleheader sweep Tuesday.
Instead, the Thunder got swept.
Visiting De Soto handed the Thunder a 2-1 loss in game one and then rolled to an 11-5 victory in game two to complete the sweep.
De Soto (2-0) next plays Thursday at Baldwin.
St. James (0-2) returns to action Tuesday at home against Sumner Academy.
