DHS golfers get fourth at Sunflower Classic

The course conditions weren't ideal, but the De Soto High Wildcats managed to get some respectable scores said DHS Boys Golf Coach Chad Brecheisen said.

"We definitely have a starting point now, because every team that beat us is in our regional tournament," Brecheisen said. " Only two teams qualify for State and we won it last year. In order to qualify we are going to have to get better at handling the weather and conditions that are out of our control."

He said he hopes to see the team improve as the weeks go on.

Placing in eighth place was Mason Wedel who shot an 87. In 11th place was Brett Williams who shot a 91.

Alex Crall shot a 94. Brandan Philbrook shot a 99. Kevin Brashears shot a 108.
