The De Soto Unified School District needs your help in choosing its next superintendent.

“Choosing a superintendent is one of the most important decisions a Board of Education will make,” School officials said. “ A vital part of this process is gathering community input.”

To get the public’s feedback the school district has created an online survey where they want people to share their "thoughts on the characteristics you believe a superintendent should possess.”

The survey will be available from now until April 7.

The survey results will be shared with the Board of Education.

The survey will close on April 7.
Please note, the district will e-mail this information to all parents by Monday.

The school district has announced two other ways to share your input on the new superintendent.

Parents can call the district's office of community relations at (913) 667-6200 or e-mailing them at
