Having trouble understanding your teen? USD 232 wants to help
The De Soto Unified School District wants to help parents understand today's teens.
At 6:30 p.m. Monday, the jagPRIDE student group will play host to a reality check parent night at Mill Valley High School, room B-225.
School officials said the free informational night is geared for middle school and high school parents to help them keep up with "the world of today's teenagers."
The information given to the parents will include ways on how to communicate with your teenager, how to tell if your teen is using drugs and information on the latest technology, and social networking Web sites teens are using.
