The De Soto United Methodist Church had its annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner Wednesday. The church’s Pleasant Hour club will have a salad luncheon at 10 a.m. Thursday at the its Fellowship Hall.

Planning started last week for the 2010 De Soto Relay for Life. The local event will be without a chairmen this year after Rita Jones stepped away from that position last year. Lori Murdock said instead she and others with share in the organizational duties of the Relay.
