Family: Wife, Casey, son, Greg, and daughter, Carrie.

Q. What do you like about working for the fire district?

A. The days off it affords. I like spending time with my family.

Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?

A. I’m not a risk taker.

Q. What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?

A. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.

Q. What’s your ideal vacation spot?

A. Somewhere where it doesn’t snow.

Q. If you could travel back in time to another era, what period would you visit?

A. The 1980s. I was born in the 80s.
