Cat girls fall to Chanute
Katie Gorman (32) powers inside for two points during the first half against Chanute Monday in the first round of the Tonganoxie Invitational. Gorman scored nine points, but the Wildcats lost 47-37.

TONGANOXIE - Kelsey Fisher scored 10 points and Katie Gorman scored nine, but the De Soto High girls fell 47-37 Monday to Chanute in the first round of the Tonganoxie Invitational Tournament.
De Soto led 15-14 at the half, but was outscored 33 to 22 in the second half.
Ashley Gorman and Tami Crow added seven apiece for De Soto. De Soto (4-5) will play the Lansing-Jeff West loser at 3 p.m. Thursday in Tonganoxie.
