Thunder silences Wildcats

Shelbi Petty scored a game-high 21, points but the De Soto girls couldn’t hold an 11-point first half lead and fell to St. James, 54-43, Tuesday at De Soto.

The Wildcats scored 17 first quarter points, but then went cold and scored a combined 12 total points in the second and third quarters.

St. James boys 47-De Soto 33

Mason Wedel scored 10 of his game-high 15 points in the second quarter, but the De Soto Wildcat boys fell to St. James, 47-33, Tuesday at De Soto.

The Wildcats struggled to get any rhythm going offensively throughout the contest and led just once during the game. Brandan Philbrook added nine points for De Soto.
