JoCo Library plans teen activities for March

The Johnson County Library will provide several events for teens at library locations in March.

Teens may drop by any of the 13 Johnson County Library locations to participate in the Teen Tech Week Challenge from March 7 through 20, or participate online 24/7 at www.jocoteenscene.org/teentech>www.jocoteenscene.org/teentech where they can play Teen Tech Bingo. Teens can score a Bingo spot for each tech activity completed. Sample Bingo activities include “Create and Avatar” or “Create a Photo Mashup.” Prizes will be awarded for a Bingo and blackout. Registration is not necessary.

A Teen Tech Week Gaming Throwdown will be from 1 to 3 pl.m. Friday, March 19 at the Johnson County Central Resource Library, 9875 W. 87th St., Overland Park. Teen gaming masters, ages 10-18, are encouraged to put spring break to good use and win cool prizes by showing their skills.
