This Spring Break, 19 members of the Johnson County Horse Club took a trip to Kentucky to attend the Youth Equestrian Festival in Lexington, Ky.

Every time a child at Starside Elementary School earns a character coupon their name gets put on a purple strip of paper that is added to the chain of character at the school. So far there are 787 links on that chain. During Tuesday's character rally, students and staff brought out the chain to show the students just how long the chain has gotten. 14 honored at character assembly
