Occupation: Asphalt construction with Performance Asphalt.
Family: Father, Jim, mother, Kathy and 2-year-old son Jace.
Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
A. When I started racing. It’s a very expensive hobby. We put a lot of money into it, and it takes a lot of time to do it.
Q. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
A. When I started racing I was told, “Just be patient.” That kind of goes with everything in life. I carry that along in everything I do.
Q. Where would be your ideal vacation destination?
A. Hawaii. I’ve always wanted to go. I’ve known a lot of people who have gone there — my grandparents and others.
Q. What’s you pet peeves?
A. Non-punctual people.
Q. If you could travel back in time to visit another era, when would that be?
A. The 1960s. It was the era of hotrods and muscle cars.
Music: Classic rock and roll.
Movie: “Six Pack.” It’s an old Kenny Rogers’ movie about stock car racing.
Food: Meat and potatoes. American food.
Car: I like muscle cars. Old hot rods.
